To see or not to see...

That, is the question!

I am 42, soon to be 43 boo hoo. I'm pretty certain that when I hit 42.5 my eye sight said "hey hang on a minute, hold that phone about a foot further away from your face sista!"

I already have an astigmatism. I've had it since forever, probably born with it. Been wearing glasses - prescribed since 12, officially since say 28. Anyways, so I have tried contacts numerous times and they work but unless I fork out the $$ for dailies, I have no commitment to the cleaning requirements for the monthly ones or longer.

Anyway, so a while back I had a consult for LASIK. All go. $8k! And that will last me about 10 years as I'm now considered old and will likely still need glasses for reading after that.

So I've been struggling with the decision. Get LASIK and be down $8k - and by the way I don't have that so it will be on some kind of debt/payment plan. Or stick with contacts/glasses.

For now, I'm thinking I am going to stick with contacts. LASIK can wait.

Let's see how this decision pans out....
