Frankly

Why Frankly?

I wanted this blog to be open, honest, raw, and straight to the point - although I admit I can waffle at times.

After deciding on "frankly", I asked my mate ChatGPT to define it for me, and as usual, she was spot on:

What “Frankly” means in the context of your writing ✍️

Frankly means speaking openly, honestly, and without unnecessary filtering — but not carelessly.

In a writing sense, frank communication is:

  • 🗣️ Candid — you say the thing people are thinking but not always saying

  • 🤍 Authentic — your real voice, not polished corporate language

  • 🎯 Direct — clear point of view, no fluff

  • 🌱 Constructive — honest with care, not shock for shock’s sake

Applied to your blog, Frankly, Michelle signals:

“This is thoughtful truth-telling — reflective, human, and grounded in lived experience.”

It suggests leadership vulnerability, emotional intelligence, and earned wisdom rather than opinion-for-attention.

So I'm happy with that.
